As we fast and pray together, our focus this week is on knowing the Holy Spirit personally—His character, role, and work. Above all, seeking His person, presence, and power will strengthen our personal walk with God and transform our church’s worship and service.

Each day, let this guide direct your prayers toward deepening your relationship with the Holy Spirit, recognizing His presence, and following His leading.

The Spirit in Creation

  • Genesis 1:2  And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
 
  • Insight: The Holy Spirit was active from the beginning, moving over the formless void and preparing creation for life. He continues to bring order, life, and purpose into the chaos of our lives today.
 
  • Reminder: The Holy Spirit is not an abstract force but a person of the Godhead who is actively involved in creating, sustaining, and renewing life.
 
  • Prayer: Today, let's thank God for the Spirit’s creative and life-giving power. Ask Him to bring order and purpose to every area of your life as well as the life and ministry of your church.
